Born Vusumuzi Ndlovu
in the city of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, on
the 19th of October 1974, Vusa is a singer,
songwriter, composer and choreographer
whose musical talent became apparent
at the tender age of nine when he was
singing at junior school choir.
After
finishing his primary education he
proceeded with his singing and dancing
talent in
secondary school and later joined the
scripture union gospel group that specialised
in Imbube music. In 1992 he joined
the a-capella group Insingizi Emnyama
with
whom he toured Austria, Denmark and
Slovenia with much success in 1995. In
1998 Vusa
then attended the “Joseph Fuchs
Music Conservatorium” for three
years in the city of Graz to develop
his music theory knowledge and playing
the classical accordion. Besides recording
and performing with Insingizi, he also
works as a session musician recording
and performing with various bands.
Vusa
also conducts workshops in song and
dance in various institutions, schools
and
colleges and is able to work with
people of all races and ages.
